FAQ

  • How long is each therapy session?

    Sessions run about 50 minutes.

  • How many sessions will I need?

I can’t really give a general answer for this! I have had some clients come in and only need a handful of sessions for them to feel like they met their goals, others take several years, and most are somewhere in between.

If this is a concern for you, I am happy to chat with you on the phone or in a session and we can discuss timelines further!

  • Do you accept insurance?

    I do not take insurance.

My fees are $100 or $125 per session, depending on if we are doing individual or relational (adolescent, family, or couples) therapy. I do offer some discounted rates, but those spots are limited and there is currently a waitlist.

  • What is your schedule / When can I schedule an appointment?

Currently, I have several “blocks” open to see clients and accommodate different schedules.

    Monday and Thursday evenings

    Wednesday and Friday afternoons

    Saturday mornings

  • Do you offer online therapy?

I do! I offer both in-person and online services. As long as you are in the state of Texas, we can work together.

My only hesitancies about offering online therapy to some clients is in cases where I feel like it would not be safe or helpful. For example, some high conflict couples do better in-person where the therapist can help deescalate arguments more efficiently.

  • What therapy methods do you use?

I use a blend of therapy modalities, and try to tailor my approach to every client’s unique needs and circumstances.

My main models of therapy are Narrative Family Therapy and Satir Experiential Therapy. I also frequently pull from CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectal behavioral therapy), and IFS (internal family systems).
